The FREE four-day showcase of Native American culture will spotlight a variety of traditional Native American activities, competitions, live entertainment and more. Throughout the festival, traditional Seminole Indian food will be available for purchase as well as a variety of hand-crafted Native American arts & crafts. Built around traditional Seminole "chickee" huts and pathways through a natural habitat emulating the Florida Everglades, it showcases up-close animal habitats and exhibits that are part of the Seminole wildlife experience, along with a prestigious collection of Seminole cultural and historical artifacts.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE & FESTIVAL

Downtown Hollywood's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival will feature Irish folk and rock bands, step dancing, Irish coffee, food and beer from noon to 6 p.m. Sun., March 14 along Hollywood Boulevard west of Young Circle, between 18th and 19th avenues. There is no charge for admission to the festivities, which will include a lively procession including floats, local pipe bands, marching bands and community groups.

Die Hollywood Historical Society lädt die Öffentlichkeit zu einer kostenlosen Besichtigung des Hauses in der Polk Street Nr. 1520 ein. Das Haus wurde von Hollywoods prominentem Architekten Bayard Lukens im Jahre 1935 für Vera und Clarence „Ham“ Hammerstein entworfen und ist ein sehr gutes Beispiel für den Stil, den Lukens als „Tropical Modern“ (tropische Moderne) bezeichnete.
